Our 8 Month Old

Halle turned 8 months on the 20th. She is growing up so fast and has quite the personality! She is such a happy baby and is such a good girl. Here are some of her milestones this past month:

1. Halle can finally roll over. It took her awhile, but she has definitely got it down now. She loves rolling from her back to her stomach and from her stomach to her back. She always looks so proud of herself when she rolls over.

2. Halle loves sleeping on her stomach. This is a recent development. A few weeks ago she would get so frustrated when she would roll over in her crib, because she couldn't roll back over, and hated being on her stomach. Now she loves sleeping on her stomach and many times has to be on her stomach in order to fall asleep.

3. I know wake up in the morning to Halle talking. Most mornings she doesn't cry. I know she is awake if I hear cute baby noises coming from her room.

4. Halle now can say, "da-da" and loves to say it at the top of her lungs. When she gets excited she now says "da-da-da-da." It is really cute and of course Jeff loves it.

5. Halle loves little kids and babies. Whenever she sees a little kid she gets totally excited and wants to play. She played with a couple of little boys in our ward today and had a great time. If any cute cousins want to come play, Halle wouldn't mind one bit!

6. Baby Einstein is still a favorite. Whenever she sees the worm at the beginning before the dvd actually starts she gets a huge smile on her face and knows what is coming.

7. Halle loves holding her own bottle now. Sometimes I try to hold it and she lets it be known that she can do it by herself.

8. Halle is also quite the eater these days. She will pretty much eat anything. There hasn't been anything she hasn't liked that we have introduced her to.

Well that is our sweet little girl. We are so thankful to have her in our family!
