We had a birthday party for Halle on Friday, September 19th. Her real birthday is September 20th, but because there was a football game that day as well as some other things, we decided to have a party for her the day before. We just invited a few people over for some pizza and salad and then played a couple of games. The first one I guess wasn't really a game; it was a quiz on "How Well Do You Know Halle?" There were questions like how much she weighed when she was born and what her first word was. My friend Emilee Erb won that game with 7 out of 10 questions right, which I was pretty surprised about. I don't see her very often, but she sure knew Halle pretty well. Way to go Emilee! We then played a game where you had to put what Halle could do in one column and what she can't do in another. There was a list of different things such as crawl, walk, stand alone, turn on and off the tv, etc. If you thought that she could do a certain thing than you put it in the column entitled, "Things Halle can do," but if it was something that you thought she couldn't do, than it went in the "Things Halle can't do
yet" column. Kristen, Jeff's sister, won that game with 11 out of 15 correct. We had a great time and thank you to everyone who came!

I was trying to get Halle to smile for the camara and she finally did. She had just woken up from a nap, so she was still kind of tired. I think this is such a cute picture of Halle and her daddy!

Halle pretty much just sat there while I opened all of her gifts. I'm sure next year she'll be more into it.
Yummy cake! At first she didn't know quite what to do, but after one taste of that frosting, she was all over it!
All Done! I have to say that Halle stayed pretty clean. I was picturing way worse, so I was happy with the outcome.
More gifts! Halle kept receiving package after package in the mail. What a sweet girl! Happy Birthday Halle! We sure love you!

That cake was as big as Halle!!! I guess she takes after her mommy if she loves cake. All the pics are so cute.
Great pics you guys! Halle is so adorable. I can't believe she is already one. These little girls are growing up way fast on us! Happy Birthday Halle Babes! We wish we could have been at your party too!
