This is how Halle has looked for the last three days. The past three days we have been potty training. I checked out a book from the library a couple weeks ago about how to potty train your child in a day. It talks about how you let your child teach a doll how to go to the bathroom and then you focus on teaching your child. A whole day is dedicated to throwing a "potty party" for your child. So, I tried it and it worked pretty well. I didn't do everything they said to do, but I did try to make it fun for Hals. So, after three days Halle is doing great! I guess it pays off to stay at home for three days straight. Halle didn't have one accident all day today and keeps telling me when she has to go! I'm hoping that she continues to do well and that we aren't just having beginner's luck. I've been dreading this whole process, but it has turned out to be A LOT better than I thought it would be. Oh and please excuse all of the chocolate in Halle's teeth in the second picture. She had just gone to the bathroom and was still eating her treat. Stickers and treats have done wonders for this girl.

Good girl Hals!!! That girl was so ready for the potty. I'm sure the treats are a big help too. I think she just might like chocolate, where on earth did that come from?
I'm so glad it's going well!! I dreaded it too, but it wasn't that bad . . . now I'm going to dread it even more with a boy:) Halle sure looks cute in underwear!
