Where to Start...

I haven't blogged in over a month and the thought of trying to get caught up seems quite daunting to me at the moment, but I will try my best. The beginning of June was spent at my parent's house where we welcomed Melissa home from her mission, celebrated Megan graduating from 8th grade, and went on a family vacation to San Diego. I was home for two weeks and got to spend it with all of my sisters which was delightful! Sometimes I forget just how much I absolutely love sister time and how much I loved growing up with my 5 sisters. They are simply the best!

The 6 of us at Meg's graduation. I look totally frumpy and quite large, but every else looks wonderful. From left to right: Amelia, Camille, Megan, Melissa, Melanie, and me.

I love this picture! I wanted the grandkids to take a picture with Megan and this is the best that I could do. I especially love Luke's expression.

After Megan's graduation we all went to San Diego. Our first day we went to Sea World. They had a few rides there that the little kids enjoyed and then we were able to go to a lot of the shows as well.

Jeff, Halle, Burton, and Chris. The dads were the lucky ones that got to go with the kids on all the rides.

Waiting for the Shamu show to start.

This was on the ride, Atlantis. Jeff as you can see was in the very front and got completely soaked!! Burton is in the back by Chris and loved it! He is only 3, but is the biggest thrill seeker. Amelia and Chris will have to keep a close eye on him when he gets older.
The next day we hit up Legoland. None of us had ever been here before and we heard it was fun, so we went. I wasn't totally impressed with it. A lot of the rides didn't do much and they were only open until 5. Maybe in a few years when Halle is older it would be more fun.

Halle is smiling right now, but by the end of this ride she was close to tears. She didn't like that it kept going up and then back down again. She isn't quite as adventurous as Burton. :)

Our last day in San Diego we went to the beach and then to an air and space museum. Here are all of the cousins(minus Lynnea) checking out a helicopter.

And here is Halle testing out a tiny airplane.
Thanks mom and dad for the fun trip! We had a great time!!
