Valentine's Day

Jeff surprised Halle and I with flowers on Valentine's Day. He got Hals two single roses-a red one and a pink one- and me some red roses mixed in with some lilies. We both were very excited when he walked in the door! I mean who doesn't love getting flowers??


A cute story about Halle. Like I mentioned, Halle was very excited that Jeff got her some flowers. She stood right by me as I put them into a vase for her. She kept telling Jeff, "Thanks dad for my flowers!" She carried them around with her everywhere she went that day. If she was playing in her room, they were sitting on her dresser. If she had to go to the bathroom, no problem, she would pick them up and take them to the bathroom with her. They stayed right by her as we were eating dinner that night too. Anywhere Halle was, her flowers were there too. They are still sitting on the kitchen counter right now, pretty much completely dead and not as pretty as they once were, but I can't bring myself to throw them away just yet. Halle just loves them!

So thanks again Jeff for the beautiful flowers! You made both your girls very happy!
