Halle's Birthday

It's taken me awhile to post this, but Halle turned 4 on September 20th! Like all little kids, she was looking forward to her birthday for weeks! We had a countdown going (like we do for many "important" things) and she was thrilled when the day finally came. All that she requested was a pink scooter, so she got that along with a few other fun things.

Good morning Birthday Girl!!

Halle had preschool on her birthday, so I was able to help out and bring treats to share. She was also the "helper" for the day and got to wear this awesome crown.
After preschool, we met up with some cousins to play some games at Chuck E Cheese and then went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner and cake and ice cream. Halle changed into her pajamas before I could stop her, so all of the rest of the pictures she is wearing her nightgown. Oh well! I'm addicted to Pinterest now, (thanks Steph) and saw this cute birthday banner I wanted to try. It actually turned out really cute and was super easy to do.

Halle had a little help blowing out her candles. Thanks Anson!

Halle requested chocolate cake, with pink frosting. I'm always looking for a good chocolate cake recipe, and think I finally found a winner. Halle even gave it her stamp of approval, so it was a success!
Here is a picture of some of the party goers. Thanks to everyone who came! She had a great day!!
