Christmas 2011

I know this is pretty pathetic as it is now February, but I feel like I can't blog about anything else until I blog about Christmas. I told my parents and sisters a month ago that I would put up some pictures of Christmas on my blog, so here you go. Haha. Maybe one of these days I'll actually get my act together and record things as they happen instead of months after the fact...maybe. :)

We were Jeff's family this year. It was fun to have all 9 cousins together and having 22 people under one roof. We had a wonderful time together and were spoiled once again! Here is Ryan on Christmas Eve. He just got this first haircut the day before. He looks so much older to me now.

This is one of the only pictures I got of Halle and Ryan. As any parent knows, if they are both looking at the camera, then it is a successful picture. :)

Halle got this pillow pet from her cousin, Scotty. She was so excited and sleeps with it every night! Scotty and Emily also got pillow pets for Christmas, so now all of the older cousins have one.
Christmas Morning!! I wish I had gotten a picture of the whole set up before the kids came out. There were three different bikes and three basketball hoops all lined up next to each other. Halle had out grown her bike awhile ago, so she was happy to receive a "big girl" princess bike. This is Halle and her sweet cousin, Annie.
Opening up her stocking. Since we had church at 10:00, we let the kids come out and see what Santa brought them, open one additional present, and look at their stockings. After that we had to hurry to get everyone ready and out the door on time.

Gina and Kevin gave Halle (and Ryan) a DS for Christmas. She was really surprised and excited! She loves it and I love it too! It keeps Halle entertained in the car and at home, although whenever Ryan sees it he HAS to have it. It is easily the most fought over toy we have, but I still like having it. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!
Ryan got in on the action too. He got some new cars, blocks, a basketball hoop, and some clothes. I think his favorite part was unwrapping the presents though.

Thank you to everyone for a wonderful Christmas! We are very blessed and always enjoy being with family. Now I can get on with what we've been doing in January!
