One of my friends sent this to me and I thought it would be fun to do. Here we go:
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Definitely hot chocolate! I can't stand egg nog.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Santa doesn't wrap them. He puts them by our stockings that are laid out on a section of the couch.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No. But we do always buy it from these cute little kids that sit outside of their house and sell it every year.
5. When do you put up your decorations? Usually a couple days after Thanksgiving
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Olga Salad (A family favorite)
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Waking up on Christmas Eve because I was so excited I couldn't sleep. My sister Melissa and I shared a room and we both kept waking up. We decided at about 5:30 to go out and see what Santa gave us and discovered that my two older sisters had been up for about an hour already playing games. They were too excited as well and were playing games waiting for more people to wake up.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I can't totally remember. I guess I just grew out of it.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? No, we have to wait until Christmas day.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? lights and ornaments
12. Can you ice skate? Yes. I'm not that good at it though.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Jeff gave me some Ugg slippers for Christmas 3 years ago and I absolutely love them!
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Being with my family, making new memories, and re-reading the birth of Christ and remembering why we celebrate Christmas.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? My mom's mint brownies
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Sitting around our fireplace on Christmas Eve and having my dad read Luke 2.
17. What tops your tree? An Angel
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Both. I love giving gifts that are thoughtful and that others enjoy, but I do like receiving as well.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Christmas Shoes
20. Candy Canes? I do like candy canes.
21. Do you feel Christmas is too commercialized? Sometimes
