Graduation Day

Today was Jeff's graduation day! It started out pretty early and was a long day, but it was so nice! Jeff's convocation was first and then we went to his commencement almost immediately after that. The convocation was nice and short and it was fun to cheer for Jeff as they read his name. He has worked so hard and I'm so proud of him. He always tells me that he thought this day would never come, but now it has. Yay! President Monson spoke at the commencement which was so neat. He talked about looking backward, reaching outward, and pressing forward. It was nice to be able to actually clap after his remarks and everyone gave him a standing ovation. He and his wife also received honorary degrees from UVU. Oh, and President Uchtdorf and President Eyring were there with their wives. Jeff actually got to shake President Uchtdorf's hand after the graduation ceremony. He was congratulating a bunch of graduates and Jeff was one of them.

Jeff's family was also able to come for the special day and it has been so nice to see them and spend some time with them. Halle adores each and everyone of them and it was nice to have so much help during the two ceremonies. We all enjoyed a reception after the ceremonies and taking pictures around campus. We also went to Tucano's for dinner, which is always a treat!

Congratulations to my wonderful husband! You've worked so hard! I hope you had a great day! I sure love you!
